Is there something in the air....?

Rock god Dash James, 33, and his girlfriend of two years, actress Bailee Gomez, 22, confirm via Dash's official blog, that they are expecting a baby, this is a first for both of them. Rumours surounding Australian power couple started circulating two months ago. The two have not commented on whether or not they will tie the knot. Dash also announces that his band, SilverSmiths world tour is cancelled due to his impending fatherhood and cancer that has struck another bandmate's family.

i know this the first time in 2 months that i've updated this blog but we have some huge news.

as you all know, bailee and i have refused to comment on a rumoured pregancy...due to health reasons. but now we have been given the all clear and we want you, the fans, to be the first to know that....

WE ARE HAVING A BABY!

We're four months along and couldn't be happier. I love bailee and she has been my inspiration since the day i met her and the thought of bringing a human being into the world with her, the love of my life, could bring me to tears.

I would also like to announce that the world tour that SilverSmiths have been planning will be put on hold indefinitely. Sorry guys. The boys and I hope you'll all understand, our band is currently going through imporatant and personal times in our lives. Benji's mother, Sally has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer and Benj has requested that he stay home and be with her and Edde and his wife are expecting TWINS sometime this summer, as you already know and has decided to stay home and bond with his children when they arrive. And of course, I don't want to be touring when bailee is pregnant, I want to be there with her every step of the way.
