Roxana Rourkuras, only daughter of Greek shipping tycoon, Maximillian Rourkuras has been described at "psycotic" and "metally unstable".
"Roxana's mother was murdered when she was 1, her former step-mother physically abused her and she was molested by a trusted male friend during her mid-teens. She has been through hard times," says a relative "She's clinically depressed but won't take her medication and refuses to seek treatment. Maximillian is extremely worried about her. There have been countless interventions, but she is stubborn and won't accept help."
A month ago, Roxana checked into the Soho hotel and did not leave her room in 5 days, when concerned friends went to check up on her they found her in an unconsicence state with liberal amounts of alcohol and sleeping pills by her side, luckily she could be revived. "It was not the first time she attempted suicide, she has tried many times and many different ways before..this was just the first time it was publicised."
According to the source, Roxana is at her grandfather's home in Crete under "family-imposed house arrest".
