Harper defends Livi and Arielle

Harper Gillespie-Radcliffe, family friend of Livi Lancaster, has spoken out about Arielle Griffin-Moor's stint in rehab and his older sister's wild partying ways. In his new interview iwth GQ magazine, Harper reveals what Shayd said when Livi was charged with underage drinking three times and what his god-father, Matt Griffin-Moor, Arielle's father, had to endure when he found out about his only daughter's addiction to horse tranquilisers.

About his Livi's so-called wild ways:
"Liv is just a normal 17-year-old. Mum told me that she did worse things when she was 17, the media just likes to make Liv out to be some sort of out of control little snot, but she's the total opposite. Ask anyone who knows us, I am the wild child and Liv is way more reserved. For some reason, the tabloids turn the other cheek when I'm out doing bad things, but totally over-react and eggzagerate when it comes to her. It's not fair."

On his sister's "party girl" reputation:
"Tinny (older sister, Tinslee) is just a normal 17 year old, she wants to have fun. Leave her alone, I say. Trust me, I've partied more than Tin has in her lifetime. Pick on me instead of her."

On Shayd's to Livi's under-age drinking charges:
"He was understanding, he did worse things when he was 16."

About his family:
"We're all really close, mum and dad's marriage is strong. We're a close, mixed family."

About his god-father, Matt Griffin-Moor:
"My god-father is the funniest, most entertaining man you will ever meet. Uncle Matt and Mum have known each other since she (Mum) was about 18, they are the best of friends. She's Ari's (Arielle) god-mother and he's my god father, we're basically family, I treat Ari like my sister. Uncle Cozzie (Cosmo Griffin-Moor) is sorta like my un-official second god-father, he and Uncle Matt are twins and I never use to be able to tell them apart. Even after all these years, they can switch and still fool Mum."

On Matt's reaction to Arielle's addiction:
"Well, he wasn't happy about it. She's his only daughter on he was devastated, he tried to deal with it himself for a while but Arielle kept getting worse and worse. It was when he found her uncouncious in the stables early in the morning that he knew he had to send her away for help....it was the hardest day of his life."

On Arielle's addiction:
"I got really mad after news broke of Ari's (going to) rehab. They made up all these things like she had physcological damage from years of abuse or some shit like that. Uncle Matt his like a second father to me, he would never let such a thing happen to Arielle, she's his pride and joy. I don't why she was on the horse tranquilisers, but I do know that I and all my family love her and support her 100% and she's on the slow road to recovery and we're all behind her all the way."

On Arielle's first night out after rehab:
"Shivan picked her up from the treatment facility, she went home, her whole family, was there to have a "Welcome Home" dinner for her. By whole family I mean, her intermediate family and mine....like I said, we're all a big family. After dinner Shivan, Liv, Ari & I headed to mushROOM to cathc up with friends. Arielle did NO drugs whatsoever, don't listen to anyone else. Uncle Matt showed up in a few hours to keep an eye on her...I bet no one reported that.

On his future career:
"I was three options, have a boring normal life, or be a rockstar like dad or actor like mum. IAt this moment in time, I have no idea. We're a pretty eccentric family aren't we" (Laughs) Well,I think dad might want me to get into music, he taught me everything he knows since I was about five years old. I'm his first born son, I think people expect me to follow in his footsteps...but something about acting appeals to me...so does music though. Well now you've got me all confused!"
